Acres for Life

Attn: Heather Acres for Life- under the umbrella of Operation Sanctuary- a state wide collaboration of EAGALA facilities that provide services to veterans and their families, provides EAGALA model Equine Assisted Therapy and Equine Assisted Learning services for service members, their families, and those who serve the military. We specialize in Addictions Recovery and Mental Health and Wellness. Through working with horses on the ground, no riding involved and no experience necessary, clients have the opportunity to work through difficult issues and gain strengths and resources in a new and inspiring way! Ain Dah Yung Center

The Ain Dah Yung Center – which means “our home” in the Ojibwe language – is an emergency shelter for runaway and homeless American Indian youth and provides a healing place within the community to thrive in safety and wholeness.

ADYC provides a continuum of care and services recognizing that, in American Indian culture, you can’t grow as a person until you have honor, dignity, and respect for both yourself and everything around you. Each year, ADYC provides services to about 1,100 youth and families, using traditional American Indian beliefs as a starting point for personal and community growth.

Alateen Hotline

Alateen is part of Al‑Anon Family Groups.  Alateen is a fellowship of young Al-Anon members, usually teenagers, whose lives have been affected by someone else’s drinking.  Alateen groups are sponsored by Al-Anon members who help the group to stay on track.  Alateens come together to:

  • share experiences, strength, and hope with each other
  • discuss difficulties
  • learn effective ways to cope with problems
  • encourage one another
  • help each other understand the principles of the Al-Anon program
  • learn how to use the Twelve Steps and Alateen’s Twelve Traditions
