All Recovery Meeting – Saint Paul
February 2 @ 11:00 am - February 6 @ 12:00 pm
What is an All Recovery Meeting?
All Recovery Meetings are based on the idea that there are great benefits to bringing people together from multiple recovery pathways. MRC is hosting throughout the Twin Cities area. These meetings honor all pathways to recovery, acknowledging that each person’s path is unique and reflects their personal strengths. The meetings are an opportunity for social support that focuses on the hope and healing found in recovery and to connect with others who are initiating and maintaining a recovery lifestyle.
Meetings start with a check-in on a scale form, with questions about spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical health. Participants are also asked if they are open to hearing feedback. The meeting format is a bit different in that participants speak one-on-one to the person next to them. Paperwork is available for individuals to fill out and keep track of their moods from week to week if they desire. Right now our meetings are facilitated by our amazing Recovery Navigators, but our goal is to have meetings facilitated by volunteers. Many of our All Recovery Meetings facilitators were at one time All Recovery Meeting participants. Recovery really does work!
Come, socialize, share!! Friends and family members welcome to attend!
”All recovery meetings are a great way to meet other people in recovery. There is no identifying as an alcoholic or addict at the beginning of the meeting, so everyone can just come as who they are.” – Meeting participant and facilitator
“All-recovery meetings have had a profound impact on my recovery and my life in general.” – Meeting participant and facilitator
