Eldercare Locator

The Eldercare Locator is a nationwide service that connects older Americans and their caregivers with trustworthy local support resources. Since 1991, the Eldercare Locator has been linking those who need assistance with state and local agencies on aging, as well as community-based organizations that serve older adults and their caregivers. Whether help is needed with services such as meals, home care or transportation, or a caregiver needs training and education or a well-deserved break from caregiving responsibilities, the Eldercare Locator is there to point that person in the right direction.  The Eldercare Locator is a public service of the Administration on Aging (AoA), an agency of the U.S. Administration for Community Living.

Metro Hope Ministries

We are Metro Hope, a residential, Christ-centered, drug and alcohol recovery program serving men, women, and mothers with children. Providing healing and hope for the whole family since 1926. Many of our residents are at the end of their options. Most have exhausted their support systems, lost their homes and are unable to support themselves or their families financially. Many have lost custody of their children and have experienced unemployment and homelessness. At Metro Hope, for a season of their lives, thousands of men and women in our programs have encountered Jesus and the hope He gives. On a daily basis, we are blessed to see people receive His grace, begin walking in His identity and strive to lead productive lives.

Metro Hope is a 501c3 organization that has been working since 1926 to provide real help and lasting hope to people in recovery. We operate New Hope Center and Healing House residential programs, which are the heart of our addiction recovery work. These programs are designed to empower our residents to break the cycle of addiction and homelessness successfully through spiritual, educational, and emotional stability. Metro Hope has programs for men, single women, and women with children.

St. Stephen’s Homeless Services

Our mission at St. Stephen’s Human Services is Ending Homelessness.

Our goal is to support individuals and families experiencing homelessness in achieving permanent, affordable housing. We progress toward this goal through street outreach, shelter, and housing programs. We meet people where they are and work together toward self-sufficiency and housing stability.

We envision a community in which housing instability is rare, brief and non-recurring, ending homelessness as we know it.

If you are seeking assistance, please first visit our Get Help page to find resources, recommendations, and information about accessing shelter, housing programs, or affordable housing.

Our main office is located right on several MetroTransit bus lines, including the 11, 17, and 18. Click here to plan your trip to St. Stephen’s using public transit.
