Outreach Volunteers are our ambassadors to the

recovery community and the world at large.

Whether sharing your recovery story or
publicly affirming what Minnesota Recovery Connection does,
your voice is your most powerful tool.
Learn how to use it effectively.

Outreach volunteers represent and share about Minnesota Recovery Connection in treatment centers and at community events. Becoming an Outreach volunteer is a great way to strengthen your own recovery by giving back and staying connected.

Outreach volunteers need the following:

  • Six months or longer in recovery
  • The willingness to participate in and complete a six-hour training
  • No violent or predatory convictions
  • Desire to speak publicly about Minnesota Recovery Connection
