Minnesota Recovery Connection (MRC)’s mission is to strengthen the recovery community through peer-to-peer support, public education, and advocacy.

Harbor Light Center

Our chemical dependency program inside the Harbor Light Center serves about 60 men at any given time. Most are homeless, without family support and in need of an extensive, holistic approach to recovery. They start with three weeks of inpatient treatment based on the 12-step model of recovery. Then, they spend about 75 days living at one of two halfway houses: one at Harbor Light, the other at a private home in the northern suburbs.

Beacon is a state-licensed program that stresses relapse prevention, finding and keeping a job, obtaining housing and developing a strong support system. Beacon also offers on-site chemical use assessments to Harbor Light shelter guests and the community.
