Deaf Can, Incorporated

Our mission is to assist, mentor, and support Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and DeafBlind individuals who experience chemical dependency and/or mental illness by offering community-based rehabilitation services.

Deaf Can, Inc.  provides the following services:

Home Based Care Services (HCBS) and Consumer Directed Care Services (CDCS)

  • CADI/IHS, 245 D Licensed services ​


Peer Recovery Support Services

  • Post-treatment support, education and care for chemical dependent Deaf/HH/DB community
  • FAR Club (Fun ASL Recovery) ~ A Deaf peer run recovery support AA/NA/CA meetings at Thompson Hall in St. Paul, MN   Wednesdays 6:30 PM
  • Community Resource training for Deaf and Hard of Hearing
  • Building stronger support and sober socialization opportunities
  • Support in establishing relationships within the community and Deaf/HH/DB friendly resources
