Driving With Care

We are pleased to announce that Professional Counseling Center will be adding a new time and place to attend Driving with Care classes! Driving with Care classes can be taken in Buffalo on Saturday afternoon.

Driving with Care is a nationally recognized and approved DWI/DUI educational program. That means Driving with Care works with probation offices and requirements, whether local, metro area, greater Minnesota, or even out of state. Levels I and II are self-pay, as they are classes and not a clinical service.

Level I is a 12 hour program, 6 sessions: 1 session per week. Cost: $275.00

This class is offered in Delano on Wednesday evenings from 4-6pm or in Buffalo on Saturday from 12pm-2pm.

Level II is a 24 hour program, 12 sessions: 1 session per week. Cost: $390.00

This class is offered in Delano on Wednesday evenings from 6-8pm or in Buffalo on Saturday from 2pm-4pm.

The purpose of our Driving with Care Educational Program is to help develop skills to:

  • Prevent future driving while impaired by alcohol or other drugs.
  • Avoid future patterns of alcohol or other drug use that has caused you problems in the past, and have led to driving while impaired. This helps prevent recidivism and more legal and personal problems in the future.
  • Promote pro-social rather than anti-social behavior.

Our Driving with Care program satisfies the requirements of both the author and those of the court system.

50% of the fee for the class must be paid before the first class.
The remaining 50% is due by the last day of the class.
