IN THE HEART OF THE RECOVERY COMMUNITY
NUWAY is a non-profit organization serving individuals recovering from co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders since 1966.
Located in Minnesota, we offer an affordable extended care treatment continuum that includes residential and outpatient with recovery residence support. Our clients often struggle with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders, lack supportive recovery environments and need extended care to establish their recovery in the community.
What We Offer
- Medium and low intensity, co-occurring residential treatment for men, women, and transgender individuals
- Intensive co-occurring outpatient treatment with optional recovery residence support for women & men
- Continuum of highly affordable services allowing individuals to customize their length of treatment
NUWAY is privileged to be the first in the nation to offer the Co-Occurring Disorders Program (CDP) that was created by the Dartmouth Medical School in association with the Hazelden Foundation. The goal of this program is to enhance our client’s recovery through understanding substance use and mental health disorders. It is our belief that substance use and mental health disorders require equal levels of intervention.
