All Recovery Meeting Co-Facilitator Volunteer

Position Description: All Recovery Meeting (ARM) Co-Facilitator

Start date: Ongoing

Purpose

The purpose of the All Recovery Meeting (ARM) Co-Facilitator is to assist Minnesota Recovery Connection staff in the facilitation of All Recovery Meetings by ensuring conversation moves forward.

Roles & Responsibilities

The roles and responsibilities of an All Recovery Meeting (ARM) Co-Facilitator Volunteer include:

  • Creating a safe space for participants to be open with each other
  • Referring participants to resources as needed
  • Preparing recovery capital scales for participants 
  • Explaining recovery capital scales to participants
  • Moderating conversations to ensure appropriate conversations are happening
  • Providing constructive feedback to meeting participants when necessary
  • Honoring all pathways to recovery 
  • Represent Minnesota Recovery Connection with integrity and in accordance with the volunteer handbook

Requirements

  • 6 months in personal or family recovery or experience as a recovery ally
  • A desire to give back to the recovery community
  • Experience with running a zoom meeting (preferred)
  • Completion of the Recovery Coach Academy (RCA)
  • Completion of the Volunteer Orientation
  • Ability to commit to a minimum of one All Recovery Meeting a Week
